You shouldn’t be too keen towards coffee especially in the morning. Caffeine can slow down saliva production and, therefore, dry out your mouth. This will lead to breath odor. It’s better to drink a cup of tea during your lunch and dinner.
Change your toothbrush every 3 months
We may not notice how quickly our toothbrush gets old. An old toothbrush may be as unsafe to use as it simply adds more bacteria to your mouth. So it is essential to change your toothbrush regularly.
Clean your dentures

No-No sugar mints
Sugar is normally added to the mints which we often take after a meal. And this is exactly what helps the bacteria in our mouth to grow. It may make your bad breath worse once the gum or mint is gone. So if you must use mints, opt for the sugar-free type.
Drink plenty of water
Water is good for overall health. A sufficient amount of water stimulates the salivary flow and helps to avoid dehydration, which is often a reason for halitosis.
