Chiranjeevi thanks Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao for granting permission to resume shooting

On Friday, CM Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao granted permission to resume shooting and post-production, which was halted due to lockdown for COVID 19.

Megastar Chiranjeevi thanked CM by posting a heartfelt message on his twitter account,” Telangana Chief Minister Shri KCR thanks on behalf of the industry. Today they hear positively about the problems of film, TV and digital media and will soon take the decision to bring in thousands of daily wage workers”.

Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, SS Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, Trivikram, Dil Raju, and Suresh Babu were part of this delegation from the Tollywood film industry who were present at his official residence Pragati Bhavan.

The official twitter handle of Telangana CMO also tweeted,” CM Sri KCR has stated that film shoots, production works halted due to the #Coronavirus spread will be resumed in a phased manner. Hon’ble CM suggested that self-regulation has to be practised in view of the Lockdown restrictions and #Coronavirus containment guidelines.

Later Director SS Rajamauli also thanked CM KCR,” I sincerely thank Telangana CM, KCR Garu for being empathetic to us as we discussed the possibility of bringing back normalcy to the sets of films. He heard us patiently and offered much-needed words of solace,” he wrote.

CM will also extend all the welfare schemes to the daily wage workers of the film, television, and digital media industries.
